Fans have voted Antonio Valencia the Reds' Man of the Match following United's 1-0 victory over Fulham on Monday night.
Jonny Evans took home Sky's champagne on the night, but it's Valencia who most impressed ManUtd.com users.
The winger claimed an impressive 41 per cent of the online vote, with Evans (29 per cent) and Wayne Rooney (17 per cent) in hot pursuit. Ashley Young, Rafael and Patrice Evra shared the remaining 10 per cent. It's the second game in succession the Ecuador international has scooped the fan-voted prize.
Valencia, who has only recently returned from a four-week layoff due to a hamstring injury sustained in Amsterdam last month, enjoyed a fruitful evening against Fulham, playing 62 passes, whipping in eight crosses and attempting two shots on goal.
Presumably Sir Alex won't disagree with the fans' decision. After the match, he told MUTV: "Antonio and Jonny Evans were our best players. I think a player like Valencia has got exceptional talent.
"Some people actually under-rate him. We don't. That's why we bought him. When he's back and in that form, he gives us a big chance."
