Loans: McGinty injury blow

There's bad news concerning Sean McGinty as the defender dislocated his shoulder while playing for Morecambe against Hereford, with the Shrimps revealing the injury will cut short his loan spell.

"I'm absolutely gutted for the lad," boss Jim Bentley told Morecambe's official website. "He is only 18 and has been a pleasure to work with. I wish him really well and hope he is back in action as soon as possible."

Robbie Brady continues to impress during his loan spell at Hull City as he opened the scoring in the 2-2 draw with Ipswich.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international jinked to work the ball onto his left foot and saw his shot deflect past Alex McCarthy with 17 minutes on the clock. Joshua King came on for the final eight minutes, replacing former Red Cameron Stewart.

"Robbie's done very well and they're really pleased with him, Reserves boss Warren Joyce told United Review.

"He's getting more consistency in his game and is a real threat in that league."
