Preview: Braga v United

Date, time and coverage: Wednesday 7 November, 19:45 GMT. Watch it live on Sky Sports 4 or follow the action via text and radio commentary on

Form guide: United look virtually assured of avoiding a repeat of last season's failure to qualify from the group stages. The Reds sit proudly atop Group H with maximum points from three games after defeating all of the other sides in the pool. Braga have won both league games since losing at Old Trafford, against Maritimo and Gil Vicente, and are currently on three points - one behind second-placed CFR Cluj.

Ins and outs: Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidic and Shinji Kagawa look certain to be missing due to injury. Sir Alex has admitted he may shuffle his pack and Anderson is a real contender for a start after being praised again by the boss for his substitute's performance against Arsenal. Anders Lindegaard may take over from David De Gea in goal if it's decided the Dane needs another run-out. Braga have no fresh injuries to report ahead of the encounter and should be at full strength.

Betting: Braga gave United a fright two weeks ago as they went 2-0 up at Old Trafford, and a draw in Portugal would send United through while a fourth straight win could confirm the Reds as winners of Group H. United are 21/20 to get all three points, with the draw at 12/5 and Braga rated as a 5/2 chance. And considering 17 of United’s last 23 goals in away games in this competition have come after half-time, backing the Reds to win the second half at 27/20 looks a great option for anyone using the free £20 bet they can claim when registering with bwin.
