"We were all disappointed in the dressing room after the performance at Carrow Road and it’s something we’re very keen to put right today.
"Every team has bad results at some point and I’d like to think last weekend was a one-off. Now we’re back at Old Trafford we’re confident we can get back to winning ways."
Young has emerged from both dressing rooms at the Theatre of Dreams, of course, and he accepts that playing there can sometimes inspire the away team enough to make them dangerous.
"Coming to Old Trafford as an opposition player is like playing in a cup final. It was the same for me when I was at Aston Villa. If we could beat Manchester United at Old Trafford then it would be a day we’d always remember. I never managed to do that, but I think every player feels the same way.
"I'm sure QPR will be up for this game. But we feel comfortable at home and we want to pick up maximum points from the next two fixtures here."
