Round-up: Welbeck nets

Danny Welbeck scored for the fifth time for England during a 4-2 friendly defeat against Sweden, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic netting all of the hosts' goals.

The young United striker volleyed home after some classic wing-play by team-mate Ashley Young, who produced a delightful cross from the left with 35 minutes gone. The strike cancelled out Ibrahimovic's prodded opener in Stockholm and, moments later, Steven Caulker converted a free-kick by captain Steven Gerrard, who earned his 100th cap.

Tom Cleverley and Young made way for Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge around the hour mark and Welbeck shifted to the left to accommodate the Chelsea striker. Ibrahimovic thumped in a powerful strike to level the scores after a raft of substitutions and then beat Joe Hart with a deflected free-kick to notch his hat-trick. With time running out, the PSG hitman pounced on a poor clearance by Hart to bag an incredible overhead kick to stamp his class all over the proceedings.

Chile may have been beaten 3-1 by Serbia in St Gallen, Switzerland, but Angelo Henriquez had a night to remember. The teenager came on for the injured Alexis Sanchez after only 20 minutes and marked his senior debut by scoring with a bullet header from a Matias Fernandez free-kick towards the end -
