Danny Welbeck, Ashley Young and Tom Cleverley are all set to start for England in Wednesday night's friendly against Sweden.
Journalists travelling with Roy Hodgson's squad have named the XI that's expected to start in Stockholm's Friends Arena. It includes Tom Cleverley in the centre of midfield, Ashley Young on the left wing and Danny Welbeck as the lone striker.
Wayne Rooney was included in the initial squad but withdrew with an ankle injury sustained in the Reds' 3-2 win against Aston Villa last Saturday.
There are other absentees from the international fold, including Jonny Evans, Nani and Robin van Persie, but Angelo Henriquez has profited from Humberto Suazo's exclusion from the Chile squad to earn another call-up at senior level with the South Americans in action in Switzerland against Serbia.
Anders Lindegaard is in the Denmark squad for the clash against Turkey in Istanbul and has spoken to the local media about his frustration at being injured. However, the keeper believes his ankle is now starting to feel 100 per cent again. Meanwhile, Patrice Evra is expected to feature for France in
