October's fixtures certainly weren't dull, were they?
The Reds' six matches last month took place in three different competitions and featured an incredible 31 goals (19 for, 12 against). United won all but the final game, a 5-4 thriller at Stamford Bridge in the Capital One Cup.
Across the month, plenty of Reds played their part in ensuring exictement levels were consistently high, but we've picked out five who we believe are worthy of special mention.
Rafael, September's Player of the Month winner, continued his good form and was particularly impressive at Newcastle and in both fixtures against Chelsea.
Wayne Rooney netted in only one match (he scored two against Stoke) but showed his versatility by playing in both midfield and up front. Against Newcastle he was particularly instrumental and was also brilliant in the first half of United's league win at Stamford Bridge.
Tom Cleverley netted a spectacular goal at Newcastle (he still maintains he meant it!) and was also on top of his game in United's Champions League fixtures against Cluj and Braga.
Meanwhile, Robin van Persie can't stop scoring goals. The Dutchman netted four times in October as his electric start to his Reds career continued. Javier Hernandez was the only other Red to score more than twice in October - after bagging a double against Braga he rattled the net twice in each of the Chelsea matches.
