A trip east to face CFR Cluj on Tuesday night has given Manchester United’s players little time to feel sorry for themselves after the weekend’s shock home defeat by Tottenham.
Sir Alex has plenty to ponder after flying out to Romania without Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick. Antonio Valencia is also absent again but Jonny Evans, who suffered a dead leg against Spurs, should be fit to take his place alongside Rio Ferdinand.
