We have whittled the shortlist down to five for United's man of the match in the 2-1 win at CFR Cluj in the Champions League.
Robin van Persie is an obvious candidate after a splendid double strike accounted for the Romanians. The spectacular summer signing netted with a looping effort off his shoulder in the first half before supplying a deft finish to a Wayne Rooney pass after the break.
Rooney was excellent again - and it was also his free-kick that led to the equaliser - as he combined well with van Persie and Javier Hernandez, pulling the strings from a deeper position.
The performance of Tom Cleverley has drawn plenty of praise after his intricate passing skills illuminated the Reds' performance. Considering it was his Champions League debut, it was an outstanding display by the England international.
Rafael and Darren Fletcher were also deemed worthy of inclusion after showing plenty of spirit and industry. The Brazilian made a number of important clearances and interceptions while Fletcher celebrated a recall to the Scotland squad with an impressive display in a holding midfield role.
