Two Manchester United and England midfielders from different eras - but from the same area of the country - came together this week to preview the Reds' clash with Newcastle United.
Current star Michael Carrick and legendary captain Bryan Robson were both born less than 8 miles from Newcastle's stadium - in Wallsend and Chester-le-Street respectively - but neither has represented their local club, instead enjoying great success at Old Trafford.
Hearing their dialect gives an interesting edge to their expertise - as Bryan quips at the end of his television interview with Michael, "Good luck... I hope you beat them Geordies!"
Bryan Robson is a regular pundit on Countdown to Kick-off, MUTV's pre-match programme on Friday evenings (usually 18:30 BST). Look out for the full Carrick and Robson interview in next month's Inside United.
