Paul Scholes admits breaking into United's first-team in the mid-90s was a dream come true.
In the second part of our exclusive Made Of Manchester interview, the Middleton-raised man recalls the fabled "Class of '92" and reveals what it meant to the likes of himself, Nicky Butt and the Neville brothers to pull on the Reds shirt.
"It was massive for us to be involved with such a big club, the biggest club in the world in our minds. It was a dream for us to be playing for our local team.
"There's always competition... but at the same time they're your mates, people you've grown up with, and if you see them playing in the first-team you couldn't be happier for them."
Scholes also says he's thrilled local lads keep coming through the ranks at Old Trafford because "they know the importance of playing for this club".
