Robin van Persie will take some beating when it comes to the Man of the Match award for the 3-2 win at Southampton.
The spectacular summer signing may have seen a penalty saved by Kelvin Davis but his two late strikes sparked amazing scenes on the South Coast as he left the pitch applauding the jubilant visiting fans and carrying the match-ball.
