"The manager said at half-time that if we created more chances we'd win the game. I think we created three or four chances and perhaps could have stuck one or two more in the net."
The 21 year-old said United's determination to come back from 1-0 down and look the most likely winners proved there was no easing off by the team already crowned champions, even if he admits he's looking forward to presentation day on 12 May.
"We had the celebrations on Monday night and we were back in the swing of things on Tuesday and Wednesday," said Jones. "All week we've been preparing for this game and it was just a big game today and I'm pleased with the point in the end.
"[Winning the league] is obviously something you dream of as a kid. It's going to be an amazing day when we lift the trophy."
