Wayne Rooney walked away with the Man-of-the-Match award for his performance in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
The 28-year-old put in a tireless display all over the pitch in addition to scoring both goals to help secure a valuable point for the Reds, who had fallen behind twice at White Hart Lane.
He polled 89 per cent of the vote as the overwhelming choice of followers on United's official Twitter account @ManUtd.
Reds boss David Moyes enthused about the striker's display against Spurs, which saw him playing on his own up front.
"He deserves the adulation he’s getting because he’s scoring goals, and taking chances when they come his way," said Moyes. "His performances have been great, he’s worked incredibly hard and he deserves the rewards he’s getting."
