"It's the choice of the manager if he plays me or Patrice Evra and I have to wait for my chances. It's difficult because you gain rhythm by playing every week - you know when you have to go forward and when you have to stay back. "I think I did well in my first full game for months. I make sure I am always ready. Sometimes players get injuries so I always train hard to make sure I'm ready to play."
Büttner was also pleased to be part of a defence that kept a clean sheet against the Ukrainian champions.
"That's very important for the team," he added. "And it's important for the defence as well for confidence.
"I think we did well at the back and played well as a team. Of course, we can always play better but you saw everybody fighting for it. This was an important win. We fought as a team so I hope we can win the next game at Villa as well."
