Young Manchester United centre-back Luke McCullough has joined Cheltenham Town today (Friday) on a one-month loan deal.
The Portadown-born defender is a member of the Reds' Under-21s squad, having captained the Under-18 team last season when he made 25 appearances. He was also nominated for the prestigious Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award.
McCullough, who has represented Northern Ireland at Under-16 and Under-17 level, will hope to gain some valuable experience as he joins Cheltenham's chase for promotion from League Two - Mark Yates' side currently lie fifth. The Robins recently hosted Everton in the FA Cup third round, losing 5-1 to the Toffees.
