Rio Ferdinand has welcomed Nani and Anderson back into the squad for the weekend encounter with Liverpool.
Portugal winger Nani has been out since the win against Braga last October while Brazilian schemer Anderson was hurt at Reading on December 1.
The pair, who joined the club on the same day in 2007, will increase the competition for places and give Sir Alex more options with the fixtures continuing to come thick and fast.
"It is good to have them back," stated Ferdinand. "They are both naturally talented footballers. Nani has had injuries for a while. Anderson as well. Hopefully they can get fit, get back into the fold and get back into the team.
"You don't really get players who can beat players in the middle of the park these days. That is a good asset to have and is something Anderson has above anyone else. He can go past players and commit people.
"Nani is the same. He is one of the most talented players I have played with. It is good to have him back in the equation. Hopefully we can get some real good minutes out of them."
Nani has caused Liverpool problems in previous matches and could prove to be a useful asset this weekend, either starting or coming off the bench to weave his magic down the wing.
"Nani has done well against Liverpool in the past," said Ferdinand. "He is always a threat with the amount of ability he had got. He is quick, he is sharp. He shoots off both feet. He can cross the ball. He has everything."
