Berg: Tour will help Moyes

Treble winner Henning Berg believes this summer’s extensive pre-season tour is an ideal platform for David Moyes to implement his own managerial style and ideology on Manchester United.

Speaking exclusively to MUTV, the Norwegian defender and former Blackburn Rovers boss also cast his eye towards the start of the highly anticipated 2013/14, offering his opinion that the Reds will be well-prepared for action come 17 August and the first Barclays Premier League outing.

“The most important thing is for David Moyes to get to know the players, work on his way of playing, his tactics and his football style,” Berg explained. “And then you have got the last few games to actually do that before the season starts.”
