Manchester United's squad for the Dallas Cup has a youthful look with the majority of the party still eligible for the Under-18 Academy team.
Michele Fornasier is one of the senior players, along with Under-21 colleagues Reece James, Tyler Blackett, Luke Hendrie, Gyliano van Velzen and Wednesday's goalscorer at Arsenal, Charni Ekangamene.
Fornasier scored in the 2012 Dallas Cup against Everton and his experience in defence should prove useful.
Adnan Januzaj, a key performer for the Under-21s of late, will look to provide a creative spark while a number of those included will hope to step up to Warren Joyce's side next season.
Coach Joyce, who guided an older side all the way to the final in last year's competition, has also confirmed that one of those stars of that run, Will Keane, is also travelling but only to continue his rehabilitation from injury as he would be ineligible for participation in any case.
Squad: Pierluigi Gollini, Jonny Sutherland; Liam Grimshaw, Nicholas Ioannou, Michele Fornasier, Reece James, Tyler Blackett; Charni Ekangamene, Luke Hendrie, Ben Pearson, Joe Rothwell, Jack Rudge, James Weir, Josh Harrop, Mats Daehli, Adnan Januzaj; Jack Barmby, Gyliano van Velzen, James Wilson.
