Kagawa is May's star man

Shinji Kagawa was the clear winner in’s Player of the Month poll for May, sealing the title with a convincing margin of votes cast by Manchester United fans around the world.

The Japanese international enjoyed a splendid climax to the 2012/13 season, lifting his first Barclays Premier League title following a 2-1 win over Swansea City before scoring a superb opener during the epic 5-5 draw at West Bromwich Albion - Sir Alex Ferguson’s final match as manager.
In recognition of his fine form, Shinji received 51% of the votes ahead of second-placed Javier Hernandez, who was slightly behind with 30%. Elsewhere in the poll, Phil Jones was given the nod by 14% of supporters with just 5% opting for Jonny Evans.
