Papers: Holloway eyes Zaha deal

Graeme Yorke writes in the Daily Mail...

Holloway wants Zaha for one more season
Ian Holloway admits he is tempted to ask new Manchester United boss David Moyes if he can borrow Wilfried Zaha next season. Winger Zaha, who completes a £15million switch to Old Trafford this summer, signed off in style by helping Crystal Palace to victory over Watford in the npower Championship play-off final. Zaha's dart into the Hornets penalty area in the 15th minute of extra time ended with Marco Cassetti bringing him down, with Kevin Phillips dispatching the spot-kick. And Eagles boss Holloway could certainly use him next season as he attempts to keep the South Londoners in the Barclays Premier League. “I think he'd be silly to give me him back,” Holloway said of Moyes. “Now we're up it might be realistic, but who knows? He will know the task he's got. Mine will be staying up, his will be winning every week. Good luck to him and good luck to us.”

Elsewhere, The Times says United’s first-team coach Rene Meulensteen is expected to leave the club in the next 24 hours following last week's departures of Mike Phelan and Eric Steele. Times journalist James Ducker claims the Dutchman has been "offered the chance to remain at United to work with their youth academy in a role similar to that which he filled for five years between 2001 and 2006 but the Dutchman is almost certain to seek a new challenge elsewhere."

Meanwhile, The Mirror reports on Wayne Rooney's ringside appearance for Carl Froch’s unanimous points decision victory over Mikkel Kessler at the O2 arena, where the British super-middleweight won boxing's IBF and WBA world titles on Saturday.
