Manchester United manager David Moyes hopes to have a “have a few players back” to face Arsenal on Sunday, though striker Danny Welbeck is “not in contention” with a knee injury.
The Reds are unbeaten in eight matches across all competitions and hope to inflict a first away Premier League defeat of the season on the Gunners, who are currently eight points clear of the champions at the top.
As a result, Sunday’s match at Old Trafford could have an impact on the title race and United head into it with bags of confidence, as well a near fully-fit squad - as the boss confirmed during his weekly press conference at the Aon Training Complex on Friday.
“Hopefully, we'll have a few players back,” the boss explained to reporters. “The only one who is not in contention is Danny Welbeck.
"He's still suffering with his knee. But hopefully I'll have the other ones in and around the squad. I'll be able to make a decision tomorrow once I see how they all are.”
