Loans: Tunnicliffe's target

Elsewhere, in the same division, Jesse Lingard did not feature in Birmingham City’s 1-1 draw against Derby County at Pride Park with a knee ligament problem. However, his manager Lee Clark hopes he will be available for this weekend’s home game against Charlton.

On the continent, Marnick Vermijl featured for NEC, helping them record an impressive 2-1 win over Heerenveen in the Eredivisie, a result that leaves them in 17th place and just one point above the relegation zone. The United full-back has now made six appearances for his loan club.

Angelo Henriquez made his eighth appearance for Real Zaragoza as they drew 2-2 with Deportivo Alaves in the Spanish second division, while Davide Petrucci came off the bench for Royal Antwerp in their 2-0 home defeat to Boussu Dour Borinage.

Finally, last Thursday, Bebe played a full match for his temporary side Pacos de Ferreira, who lost 2-0 to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. The Reds forward hopes to feature again on Monday night against Vitoria Guimaraes.
