Wayne Rooney was the clear choice as the fans' Man of the Match after another fine display helped United clinch a remarkable comeback against Stoke City.
The no.10 headed the Reds level with a deft finish to Robin van Persie's corner and dropped deep to help pull the strings and finally ensure his side carved open the visiting defence.
Rooney goes from strength to strength and looks favourite to follow up September's Player of the Month prize with another award for October.
After polling 57 per cent of the vote, Rooney finished well clear of substitute Adnan Januzaj in second place with Shinji Kagawa in third.
Former Red Quinton Fortune chose the shortlist on MUTV but the South African later admitted he may have been wrong to overlook David De Gea and Javier Hernandez.
But another ex-Red, Danny Higginbotham, had no qualms about the result, as our video clip from The Big Match Debrief shows.
