Released Reds find homes

Most of the United players released in the summer have found new homes before the close of the deadline.

The majority of deals were wrapped up some time ago while Luke Giverin (Crewe) and Luke Hendrie (Derby) have been on trial.

Following the free transfer moves, eight went out on loan with more expected to follow when the window reopens for temporary incoming deals for Football League clubs.

Angelo Henriquez (Real Zaragoza), Bebe (Pacos de Ferreira), Davide Petrucci (Royal Antwerp) and Marnick Vermijl (NEC Nijmegen) will all be plying their trade abroad.

Sam Johnstone's spell with Yeovil Town was interrupted by a finger injury but Reece James was the first player farmed out, heading to Carlisle United, and Ryan Tunnicliffe is making a positive impression at Ipswich Town. Nick Powell joined Wigan Athletic on deadline day.
