Fellaini safely through

Belgian substitute Kevin Mirallas struck the post just seconds later with an impressive 20-yard free-kick, prompting a late flurry of late attacks from his newly-inspired team-mates. Eden Hazard went close with a deflected shot, while Fellaini’s header also flew wide.

The breakthrough finally came in the 87th minute as Origi met Hazard’s pass to smash into the roof of the net from six-yards, earning his side a narrow win that also secured their safe passage to the knockout stages with South Korea still to play.
