Manchester United loanee Bebe continued his impressive recent scoring form for Pacos de Ferreira on Sunday, netting two goals in a 3-1 home triumph over Arouca.
His brace means he now has four goals in as many Portuguese league matches, during which he has helped Pacos to move four points clear of the relegation places with six games remaining.
Yonathan Del Valle opened the scoring for Pacos in first-half stoppage time before Bebe struck twice after the break. One of his efforts was a Goal of the Season contender, as he backheeled a dropping ball into his path before smashing in a powerful strike on the half-volley.
David Simao pulled one back for Arouca late on but it proved to be no more than consolation as the home side clinched a vital three points in their bid to beat the drop. Bebe was subbed off just before full-time after an impressive individual display.
Elsewhere in Europe, Marnick Vermijl played the full 90 minutes as NEC fought back from two goals down to draw away to Heerenveen.
The hosts were cruising to victory with 12 minutes remaining before Michael Higdon found the net. It appeared as if the comeback would be short-lived when NEC defender Rens van Eijden picked up a second yellow card, but Soren Rieks struck deep into injury-time to snatch a dramatic point.
Angelo Henriquez was absent from Real Zaragoza's 1-0 home defeat to Deportivo La Coruna, while Anderson also missed out as Fiorentina beat Napoli by the same scoreline.
