team. We always play for winning trophies and always fight for that. It's a nightmare season to forget really quickly but we have to bounce back next year.
"I think a lot of people know Sir Alex was the heart of Manchester United. A legend. You can't replace him so quickly. We knew it was going to be difficult but not as difficult [as this]. We could do much better than we have done, maybe not win the league, but at least qualify for the Champions League with the players we have got. It's not about the manager, we should be there. It's a disaster this year and a season to forget."
When quizzed about his future, the France international insisted it is still to be decided.
"It's a very good question," he smiled. "I will decide in two weeks about what I am going to do. I'm not lying to anyone. There have been a lot of rumours about I am going or staying. But, at the moment, I didn't decide anything. My agent will have a meeting with Manchester and we will see.
"It will be easy for me but that's my point of view. I just wanted to wait until the end and decide what I'm going to do. You know how much I love this club and it's difficult. The reason is an important reason but you will see as I will tell if I am staying or leaving this club at the end of the season."
