27/9/2012: The Daily Mirror has picked up on a story in Italian publication Virgilio regarding Arturo Vidal. The Juventus midfielder is said to have been the subject of an approach from the Reds after impressing for the Bianconeri and Chile. However, it goes on to claim he is rated in the £40million class.

27/9/2012: The Daily Mail relays stories in the Dutch media about Kevin Strootman possibly leaving PSV Eindhoven in January. The midfielder's agent Chiel Dekker said: "Strootman has decided he wants to prove himself in a better league. If an agreement is able to be reached with a potentially interested club, PSV will allow Kevin to leave in January."

26/9/2012: Admira Wacker winger Marcel Sabitzer is being linked to United and Juventus by Virgilio. The 18-year-old has been impressing scouts this season.
