Gallery: Oslo, over and out

Manchester United’s epic Trophy Tour, delivered by DHL, ended its five-month global journey in Oslo on Tuesday.

The Barclays Premier League trophy has travelled 67,000 miles, visiting 23 countries and more than 30 cities since the tour began in Rio de Janeiro in late October.

Denis Irwin accompanied the silverware in Norway’s capital, stopping at the Harbour Monument by the City Hall for a photo opportunity, before meeting fans at a shopping centre and watching United’s game against Bayern Munich with Santander competition winners.

The ex-Reds defender was also interviewed by Norwegian TV and attended closed events for club partners Santander and DHL, where he caught up with former Tottenham goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt.
