Manchester United’s worldwide Trophy Tour, delivered by DHL, returned to the Middle East with a trip to Dubai and Riyadh this week.
After stopping off in Doha, Qatar earlier this month, Dwight Yorke and the Barclays Premier League trophy visited New Delhi and Mumbai in India, before completing this leg of the tour in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Yorke took the league silverware to meet fans at Dubai’s imposing Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, posing for photos both at the bottom and top of the 830-foot skyscraper.
The United party then moved on to visit the Kingdom Centre, another impressive structure, in Riyadh, where fans were given the chance to meet Dwight and see the Premier League trophy up close. Employees of DHL also had the opportunity to meet the club legend and see the silverware during events hosted by the Reds’ Trophy Tour partner.
