Reds unveil airline deal

Turkish Airlines, Europe's fourth-largest carrier by passenger numbers has become Manchester United’s latest commercial partner. 
As the team’s official carrier, Turkish Airlines will transport the Club’s players and officials to relevant matches, tournaments and training camps.

Welcoming the deal, David Gill said:

“We are delighted to have secured a long term partnership with Turkish Airlines. This deal is yet another indication of the global appeal of Manchester United and we are very pleased to welcome them to the Club.”

Richard Arnold, MU Director of Commercial, added:

“We are really looking forward to working with Turkish Airlines.  We have been very impressed by their ambition and the creative marketing strategy they are developing for the relationship.”

Hamdi Topçu, the chairman of Turkish Airlines Inc., said:

“Turkish Airlines places great importance on this sponsorship deal and I have the utmost confidence that the partnership will make a great contribution to Turkish Airlines' brand value.

“Turkish Airlines is very pleased to be nominated as the official carrier of one of the most reputable football teams in the world and I believe that the partnership will be of benefit to both parties.”
