Papers: Ron on his way?

Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger were last night warned to prepare for the Luiz Felipe Scolari whirlwind that will blow them out of the title race. Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Moutinho said: "Scolari will be a big success at Chelsea and what is certain is that he will be a massive rival for Ferguson and Wenger and expects to beat them."

The Premier League have been accused of "not giving a s**t" about United. Old Trafford legend Paddy Crerand attacked League bosses after United were handed tough away games after all six of their Champions League group games.

The Manchester Evening News features a statement from FIFA which insists there is no evidence of foul play from Real Madrid in the saga. "From the documentation received, no breach of contract appears to have occurred yet," read the statement. "Therefore, in accordance with the applicable practice, no kind of formal procedure has been opened by FIFA regarding this matter."
