Reds in for Cameroon keeper
Manchester United are ready to outbid Tottenham for Espanyol goalkeeper Carlos Kameni. The £4.5m-rated Cameroon keeper had been expected to join Spurs at the end of the season but, as Sportsmail revealed last month, United's chief European scout Martin Ferguson has made a couple of checks on the 24-year-old and is interested. Spurs believed they had a deal agreed in principle but United's move has turned Kameni's head.

The Mail
also reports that Sir Alex cancelled a planned day off for the United first-team squad following the FA Cup quarter final defeat to Portsmouth.

Most of Tuesday's papers run with yesterday's story on ManUtd.com in which Carlos Queiroz apologised for comments made about Birmingham's Martin Taylor.

The Daily Telegraph reports that UEFA have opened disciplinary proceedings against Lyon over the laser pen incident at the last 16 first leg tie in France.
