Papers: Go for the kill

Jeremy Cross writes in the Daily Star...

Hitman Fletch
Darren Fletcher says Manchester United must rediscover their killer touch against Chelsea on Sunday. United are two points clear at the top and on a club-record unbeaten run stretching back 16 games. But midfielder Fletcher admitted: "We need to get back to playing well and really dominating games. There are times when we have played well and ended up drawing. We might have played fantastic for 85 minutes but lost the victory because of two late goals. Some games have seen us show character and fight back for draws against the likes of Bolton and Aston Villa, so in that respect, it has been stop-start."

In other news, The Independent reports that Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is ready to start against United in Sunday’s showdown. Having made a substitute appearance against Tottenham last Sunday, Lampard came through a 60-minute practice match on Thursday and is now in line to make his first start for the Blues since the end of August.
