Javier ready to Play with heroes
The closest Javier Hernandez got to playing with his Manchester United heroes before this week was on a PlayStation console. Now he will be lining up alongside the real people who were immortalised on a video game in the bedroom of his house in Mexico. United's new signing still cannot quite get his head round it. Hernandez, 22, said: "To play with people like Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes will be incredible for me. I have only ever played with them on my PlayStation game. When I was growing up I would also watch them on TV. I dreamed one day I would play with them and now it will be a reality." Hernandez, a £6million capture from Mexican side Chivas, joined up with his new team-mates in Houston on Monday and could play some part in tonight's game against the MLS All-Stars.
Neil Custis, The Sun
There's more from Paul Scholes in the papers, at least in the online editions, following yesterday's comments about England and Manchester City. This time the veteran midfielder is quoted on playing fewer games for United in 2010/11. "I know that playing two or three times a week it is not going to happen any more. I just have to be ready when needed."
