Papers: Still eyeing Ryan

The Daily Mirror reports...

Fab job for Giggs
Wales still want Ryan Giggs as their next manager. And they hope to sign him up for an enticing opener - the chance to put the boot into Fabio Capello when England travel to Cardiff for a Euro 12 qualifier on March 26. The FA of Wales have drawn up a six-man shortlist for the post vacated by John Toshack in September. Former Sweden and Nigeria coach Lars Lagerback is the favourite at 7-4 for the job. But the FAW are monitoring contract talks between Giggs and Manchester United.

Press coverage of United is otherwise dominated by Wayne Rooney's return to the United scoresheet, in the Reds' 1-0 win over Rangers. Headlines include "Spot-on Wayne puts Utd throo" (The Sun), "Geroonimo - Relieved Wayne’s on the spot to end goal drought" (Daily Mirror) and "On the money - Rooney repays Fergie with winner."
