Blackpool set to sign Diouf
Blackpool are closing on a deal for Manchester United's Mame Biram Diouf. The Senegalese international was on loan at Blackburn last season and has figured for United on their pre-season tour of the US. The 23-year-old is expected to join on loan with view to a £1.5million deal.
The Blackpool Gazette report that Diouf is holding talks with Ian Holloway's Seasiders on Monday after a fee was agreed and could even figure in Tuesday's friendly with Rangers.
Meanwhile, captain Nemanja Vidic has praised United in The Sun: "From the first day I came to this club to the present day, the players and the coaches push you forward to improve. They always bring something new, whether that is in the facilities, in the training. That is the great thing about this club. We have improved every year."
