Ronaldo and Mourinho in, Fergie out?
Cristiano Ronaldo has put Manchester United on red alert by refusing to sign a new contract with Real Madrid. Former United star Ronaldo could be poised for a sensational return to Old Trafford after indicating he will reject Real’s offer of a new deal. Ronaldo intends to see out the two years left on his contract, which will force Real to sell him or risk losing the £80million striker for free when his deal ends in 2015. And that could force Real to get rid next summer for less than he cost them in 2009, just to ensure they get some return on their investment. Mega-rich Paris Saint-Germain head the queue to sign Ronaldo, but the 27-year-old is open to a return to United, where he spent six years before joining Real in 2009. Qatari-owned PSG are understood to have made Ronaldo and Real coach Jose Mourinho their dream targets for next summer. But with a growing belief this could be Fergie’s last season, United may gazump PSG to bring in both Ronaldo and Mourinho, who is among the favourites to succeed Fergie, in an amazing coup.

In other transfer news, the Daily Mail reckon Robert Lewandowski will accept an offer of £20.5million in wages to join United in the summer.
