The keeper was handed a start in the FA Cup third round against Swansea in January, but it was a disappointing afternoon all round as the Reds lost 2-1.

Lindegaard did not make any appearances during March but was a regular on the substitutes’ bench, being named in the matchday squad for five of the Reds’ six fixtures.
