Three players with captaincy qualities have been nominated for the Denzil Haroun Reserves Player of the Year 2008/09.
James Chester, Tom Cleverley and Corry Evans have all worn the reserve-team armband at some point during the season; all three are worthy contenders for your vote.
Tough-tackling defender Chester turned 20 in January, just days after making his senior debut for the Reds as a substitute in the Carling Cup semi-final second leg against Derby.
Versatile midfielder Cleverley, also 20, was among the 2008 nominees when Richard Eckersley won the award. A pre-season scorer in South Africa, he recently gained experience on loan at Leicester.
Midfielder turned centre-back Evans is, at 18, the youngest nominee. He's hoping to follow in the footsteps of elder brother Jonny and eventually make the senior grade at United.
