Reserves travel to Bury

United's Lancashire Senior Cup campaign gets underway this evening when the Reds meet Bury at Gigg Lane.

Neither Gabriel Obertan nor summer signing Bebe have been named in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's 16-man squad, despite featuring in the Reserves' last run-out. Remember, though, that the first-team travel to Scunthorpe on Wednesday evening for a Carling Cup third round tie.

Tonight, Solskjaer will field a youthful side against the Shakers and looks likely to hand a debut to Belgian defender Marnick Vermijl. The match, which kicks off at 19:00 BST will be broadcast live on MUTV. Highlights will be available on MUTV Online later.

The Reserves have started brightly this term, beating Manchester City, Oldham Athletic and Stockport County in Manchester Senior Cup fixtures, but slipped to defeat last week at the hands of Aston Villa in the first league match of 2010/11.

United squad: Sam Johnstone, Marnick Vermijl, Oliver Gill, Corry Evans, Scott Wootton, Reece Brown, Cameron Stewart, Ravel Morrison, Nicholas Ajose, Magnus Eikrem, Robert Brady, Michael Keane, Conor Devlin, Ezekiel Fryers, Ryan Tunnicliffe, John Cofie
