Reserves fixtures

United's Reserves will play 10 pre-season fixtures in July and August, ahead of the 2011/12 season.

Warren Joyce's side won the Barclays Reserves North league and the Manchester Senior Cup last term but were beaten by Blackburn Rovers in the Northern play-off final and the Lancashire Senior Cup semi-final.

After some well deserved rest in June, the players will reconvene in early July to begin preparations for next season's silverware charge.

The first pre-season game will be against Curzon Ashton at Tameside Stadium on 11 July. The Reds then take on a whole host of sides from around the United Kingdom in a pre-season schedule that will see Warren Joyce's men play in England, Scotland and Wales.

The final pre-season match now takes place on Thursday 18 August, against New Mills at the Church Lane Ground, please note the change in date.
