Rafa and Fletch in Reserves

United's Reserves bid to set up a title showdown with Chelsea next Monday when they face Blackburn in the Northern Group play-off at Old Trafford.

The two table-topping teams clash at 7pm with plenty of talent on show including Darren Fletcher and Rafael, who are seeking valuable playing time ahead of possible first-team involvement at the weekend.

Reece Brown returns after a tight hamstring kept him out of the draw with Liverpool and Nicky Ajose is on the bench after ending his successful loan stint with Bury.

Rovers boss Gary Bower has selected a strong side including the likes of Nikola Kalinic, Ruben Rochina and Mauro Formica.

United: Amos, Rafael, Vermijl, Brown, Wootton, Gill, Fletcher, Norwood, Obertan, Brady, King. Subs: Cofie, Devlin, Blackett, Petrucci, Ajose.

Blackburn: Bunn, Henley, Morris, Lowe, Hanley, Parry, Formica, Potts, Kalinic, Rochina, Aley. Subs: Pearson, Kean, Evans, Hitchcock, Ramm.

The referee is Dean Mohareb and the match will go straight to penalties without extra-time if the scores are level at the end of 90 minutes.

The match is live and exclusive on MUTV as Warren Joyce's team bid to lift the trophy on home soil.
