United continue the defence of the Manchester Senior Cup with a tie against Bolton Wanderers on Monday night.
Warren Joyce's side defeated the Trotters 4-1 at Under-21 level earlier this month but the coach has hinted that a younger line-up could feature at The County Ground with the possibility of some of Paul McGuinness' Under-18 squad being considered for selection.
"Obviously we've got a UEFA Youth League game [away to Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday] and there will be several of the boys who were involved at Bury who won't be playing on Monday night," Joyce explained to MUTV.
"It will give some other guys a chance to play. Even some of the younger ones from Paul's team might get an opportunity to play on Monday."
Defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, 16, came off the bench in the Under-21 beating of Bolton while Ryan McConnell was an unused substitute, although both were involved in the Academy's defeat at Aston Villa on Saturday.
A penalty shoot-out victory over Bury, following a 3-3 draw, has put United in a good position to qualify for the final of the competition with Will Keane continuing his comeback by taking his tally to three goals in two games.
The clash is exclusively live on MUTV with kick-off at 7pm and victory will ensure progression to meet Manchester City, Oldham or Rochdale.
