The AJ Bell Stadium is hosting an Under-21 derby between Manchester United and City on Monday evening.
The Barclays Under-21 Premier League fixture is live on MUTV but hopes are high for a sizeable crowd to support Warren Joyce's side.
The Reds were frustrated by Middlesbrough in a goalless stalemate last time out but the point was enough to ensure the hosts go into the game a place above the neighbours from across the city, in seventh spot, due to goal difference.
Joyce was disappointed with the performance and will expect an improved display from his charges with younger talents eager to step in if required. Saidy Janko and Andreas Pereira both came off the bench against Boro while Joe Rothwell was an unused substitute. Guillermo Varela may be in contention after returning from a period of compassionate leave.
The fixture is the first of a double-header between the two clubs with United's Under-18s entertaining the Blues at the Aon Training Complex on Saturday morning.
Tickets: Entry is free for United Executive Club members, season-ticket holders, Members and any fans aged under 16. All other supporters can buy tickets priced £3 at AJ Bell Stadium or by ringing 0161 8202610 (booking fee may apply).
