United's Under-18s earned a second Academy Premier League win of the season with a rampant 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at Storthes Hall.
Paul McGuinness' young charges fired four second-half goals after Federico Macheda had opened the scoring four minutes before the break.
The first half a closely-fought contest with the finishing touch letting both sides down in front of goal.
But Macheda's breakthrough goal opened the floodgates for the Reds. After the restart, buoyed by the one-goal advantage, United stepped up the tempo and doubled the lead four minutes in through Nicky Ajose.
Trialist Lee Askham, an England U17 international, fired home on 59 minutes as United's class began to tell.
Then Cameron Stewart added the Reds' fourth five minutes after entering the fray as a replacement for Askham. Fifteen minutes from time skipper Matthew James wrapped up an impressive performance, result and three points.
