Ghanaians beat United U15s

United’s Under-15s were beaten 3-0 against Right To Dream in the Manchester United Premier Cup on Thursday.

Tommy Martin's youngsters will now play Chivas on Friday morning at 9.30am BST in a scrap for 11th/12th place in the competition.

The Ghanaians looked a powerful side despite having a shortage of numbers in their squad and an incisive move cut through the Reds' defence to bring the opening goal in the first half.

A near-post finish at the beginning of the second half, following a left-wing cross, was always going to supply a killer blow and the third strike was against the run of play after United carved out their best efforts of the game with Makela going closest by forcing a good save out of the opposition keeper.
