Manchester United are competing in the Mercedes-Benz Junior Cup in Stuttgart with a powerful Under-19 squad travelling to Germany for the six-a-side tournament.
The Reds also took part last year with five members of the 2013 squad - Joel Castro Pereira, Liam Grimshaw, Ben Pearson, James Weir and James Wilson - also involved this time around.
Eight clubs are represented in total with United drawn in Group B alongside Fluminense, Schalke and Borussia Dortmund. The German sides looked particularly skilled at the short-form game in last year's competition as the Reds' youngsters became more comfortable with the format as the event wore on.
The group games take place this Sunday before the second phase of fixtures on Monday.
