A cultured midfielder who lives to drive forward and set up attacks.

The local lad from Manchester first linked up with United at the age of six and has worked his way through the ranks in impressive fashion, captaining the side on occasion.

After a wonderful start to the 2011/2012 campaign, he was hit by injury but returned to become an influence towards the end of the FA Youth Cup run to the semi-finals. Linking well with fellow England Youth international Ben Pearson, he was able to show plenty of promise.

illustrated his ability to start and finish moves and he ended up with three goals in 13 starts.
